Set somewhere in England in the mid ’90’s.  It takes place over a period of a few months.

This play has been described as a romp through the bubblegum years of teenage life, through the highs and lows of Angela & Maxine, living in Britain in the ’90’s

Obsessed with pop music and dreaming of becoming “pop singers” themselves, they form a band, try writing music, sing Madonna music with a hairbrush microphone and skive off school.

Angela and Maxine navigate through all the angst and heartache of teenage life,  Angela’s parents break-up and a cancer diagnosis.

Tyler plays a monosyllabic and curiously named “Monkey” a musician with little words, but a Flinstone fetish character
