Mostly newcomers to the society, those taking part evidently threw themselves into the production with enthusiasm. Cast – Geraldine Ottens (Edith), Mary Susans (Ruth), Sidney Hill (Charles), Doug Russell (Doctor Bradman), Beverley Waite (Mrs Bradman), Ngaire Young (Madame Arcati) and Jan Marsh (Elvira). )
This was the first appearance of “Blithe Spirit” by the Inglewood Dramatic Society- the second was on stage at Cue Theatre 20 years later in 1981 with Dorne Arthur as Director – see “Blithe Spirit” 1981 for details
