Recent retirees Adrian and Alison have been studying Lonely Planet in readiness for their Italian trip of a lifetime. But when their best friends suddenly pull out, and the neighbours fill in a whole new set of challenges and adventures look set to change their lives forever. Will the find la dice vita? Or will Adrian’s wandering eye make it impossible for Alison to keep to their hectic sightseeing schedule.
