Tom Millard is an intelligent, thoughtful person who is a romantic at heart. He looks good for his age but is a private person who doesn’t like to socialise much. After his world is shattered by the unexpected death of his wife, and realising that life is short and precious. Tom makes a bucket list and starts working through it while staying at his beach house in Cornwall. But nothing goes according to plan ..
Lucy the younger daughter of Tom, hatches a plot (together with her sister Jade) to bring their father closer to home, Jade is not all that happy that Tom is moving away. Keith is Tom’s best friend. He has been married for 27 years, but still thinks of himself as a bit of a Jack the Lad, he likes to do things his way. Sara is the local vicar and Alice is the cleaning lady, with many aliments that inhibit her ability to “clean”
Brenda is a family friend who lives alone after her husband left her. She’s very wealthy with a liking for the finer things in life. SHe’s also somewhat of a snob. Kim is the escort lady, she’s very attractive, a single lady with twins and enjoying the freedom of her newly-found vocation.
